my daughter is 6 years old. she is kind of hypper active. when is time to give her a shower before bed time. i know this that her under arms are very %26quot;stinky%26quot;. can she start using deodorant or should i wait? what age should be appropiate?
Deodorant for a girl??? help.?
If she is stinky, get her deoderant, but make sure it is a natural one with no cancer-causing parabens or aluminum (yup, thats every conventional brand on the market) Kiss My Face, Tom%26#039;s of Maine, and Nature%26#039;s Gate all make great ones that aren%26#039;t any more expensive.
Reply:Alot of kids this age get stinky, I know mine did, what I did was buy an organic deodorant. There are no chemicals or harmful things in them as they are completely plant based. That way I knew it would not be dangerous for her. They are a little more pricey but with all the studies being done linking deodorant with breast cancer I felt much safer letting her use that. She also liked picking out the one she thought smelled best for herself. Dr toms does a great range of them. Good luck.
Reply:My daughter also started smelling a little %26quot;ripe%26quot; at the age of 6. I ran to the doctor with her because I was sure that something wasn%26#039;t right....
Everything was fine and he recommended a deodorant only. But it was hard to find a deodorant without the anti-perspirant. The only one was Tom%26#039;s of Maine in my area and it was more expensive than my Secret! Plus it didn%26#039;t smell right for a little girl. I get her either Soft and Dri, Teen Spirit or Dove now. They don%26#039;t irritate her and they smell like a little girl should smell :-)
Reply:The right time to start wearing deoderent is when U need it.
Reply:does she have hair under her armpits? if yes then shave it. then apply dove or secret roll on white powder fresh scent . they smell lovely.
