Why does my armpit sting after trying a new deodorant?

I%26#039;ve sadly been using my moms Womens deodorant for a couple of YEARS. Now i%26#039;m in college and i have to get my OWN deodorant, soooooo I bought my own regular deodorant. But I just put it on anddddd it was stinging for a while...is that normal? Will it eventually go away? is my armpits too used to the old deodorant? ahh I dont wanna put on the deordorant anymore...And this has happened before whenever I tried to change deodorants.

Why does my armpit sting after trying a new deodorant?
try a sensitive skin deodorant worse comes to the worst, buy your usual and peel the label off
Reply:prob sensitive skin or you have a cut or something try spray deodorant (Axe)
Reply:You are probably allergic to the aluminum base componets in the deodorant. Try Old spice sport it does not have it in it. Most of the aluminum base deodorants are in dry deodorant. Just look on the label on the back on the ingrediants part,.
Reply:b/c ur a %26quot;women%26quot; now
Reply:Deodarant shouldn%26#039;t sting. Most have a warning that says that if any stinging or rashes occur to stop the use immediately. Try something for sensetive skin and hopefully that works. You could also try a spray deodarant like Axe or Tag. I hope this helped somehow.
