so is it harmfull to health
Is Deodorant spray harmful?
Yes, deodorant is toxic to your body and your clothing obviously. Many products that you put on your skin or hair have chemicals in them. These chemicals enter your bloodstream through your skin. I stopped using the deodorants with toxic ingredients (which most have) some time ago. I found a website called EWG, Cosmetics. You can type in any brand or product and it lists all its ingredients and whether or not they are toxic. It also gives products a rating from 0 to 10 with 10 being the most toxic. I use a natural deodorant now and it works just as well as the toxic stuff. It's called Crystal Body Deodorant Natural Deodorant Rock. It also comes in a mist if you prefer a spray. I am posting the link to the the EWG website so that you can look for a non toxic deodorant on there or search for any other products you may be concerned about. Good luck.
Reply:all aerosol sprays are bad
Reply:If you have allergies to some of the chemicals in deodorant you might have a problem.
One thing you want to be sure is you're using deodorant and not antiperspirant. Antiperspirants use aluminum to close the pores, and exposure to aluminum - while not scientifically proven - has a suspicion of being a possible cause of Alzheimers' disease. Reducing your exposure to aluminum certainly can't hurt even if it isn't the case.
If you have really serious odor problems or other issues such that you have trouble with your clothes being damaged, you might want to see a doctor and get a prescription for a stronger deodorant.
Also, women have what are called "dress shields" which I think are used for the same idea, to prevent sweat from staining their dresses, and there may be something similar available for men.
While doing a Google search on dress shields, I found the link below that this company mentions they make such things for men as well, that might be an idea for you.
