PPG-3 Myristyl ether in deodorant...?

I was reading the back of this one deodorant (Old Spice Red Zone deodorant Guranteed performance) because it looked different from my other deodorant of the same name. The newer one contained PPG-3 myristyl ether while the older one didn%26#039;t. my question is, isn%26#039;t ether bad for you? I mean if it%26#039;s in something that you use daily, couldn%26#039;t that affect you negatively somehow? if so, what does it do to you? if not, just say it%26#039;s safe (but have proof).

PPG-3 Myristyl ether in deodorant...?
It%26#039;s only bad for you if you eat it or rub it on an open wound. The FDA and the NIH list no hazards from external use. TOXNET at the NLM lists it as a newly-developed derivative popoxylate.
