Okay, im 14 and during school i sweat a lot..ive tried a lot of deodorants but NONE work! Ive tried ban, secret, and teen spirit stick. and when i say i sweat a lot i mean it. whats the best kind of deodorant? Its so embarssing when i have sweat marks too..all of the deodorants ive used are invisable solid..do i need to try gel? HELP!!! I cant wear like any shirt without marks
I cant find a deodorant that works?! HELP!!!?
Are you talking about wet marks or stains?
If you are getting wet marks that are really big you should really try a product called Certain Dri. You apply it at night and then do your regular scented deodorant in the morning. This stuff really works I had the same problem and this is has really helped me. You can get it almost anywhere. I get mine at CVS, it%26#039;s over the counter.
If you are talking about stains it%26#039;s because you are sweating so much that the aluminum from the actual deodorant you use is getting on your tshirts. Then when you wash them it activates the chemicals and causes a brown/yellow color.
To prevent this you should definitely use Certain Dri. It takes about 1-2 weeks to work and I%26#039;ve been using it since I bought it. I love it and it works great. After you see it working you can use it every other night and you will get the same results. I also noticed someone said Botox. Yes it does work but you would need it done more than once and it%26#039;s really not that cheap and there are risks involved. Best of luck to you.
Reply:Try Speed Stick 24/7 the white one (solid), not the gel. Gels for me at least, make me smell worse.
Also, homemade remedies, there are two, you should use every night, to start out, either one or both your choice, you won%26#039;t see affects of this untill after 2 weeks, but then you won%26#039;t need to use it much at all.
1. Milk of Magnesium, dab some under your arms
2. Lemon, cut in have and scrub it in your underarm
Reply:okay i know EXACTLY what your going through. im 15 and i get the same thing. nothing works for me excecpt a pescription. its emberassing but you have to go to your doctor and tell them and theyll say its normal and theyll give you a pescription for this liquid stuff you put under your arms everynight. its kinda itchy and can hurt at times at night BUT IT WORKS!!! its amazing! two days after using it i didn%26#039;t sweat a drop!!!! just be sure to shower it off in the morning or it will reallly hurt after a while. don%26#039;t forget to use any regular deoderant during the day though. but yeah it works and i don%26#039;t sweat AT ALL! good luck!!!
Reply:Okay, well, lots of people sweat alot during school.
Do not use a gel, it makes your armpits sticky.. ick.
Try maybe Dove Clinical Strength Deodorant, its clinically proven to reduce sweating, and take aaway smell, you should try this.
Or, try an Anti-Persperant, meaning it will actually reduce your sweat, not cover it up.
Reply:i no how you feel i use secret platnim and it works great and if that doesnt work u could try

Reply:I have the same problem. Ive tried alot of different deodorants but im just one of those women who sweats hard. Try wearing men%26#039;s deodorant. I know it may sound dumb, but I use my brothers Speed Stick and it works really well.
Reply:Ok there is a different type of deodrant for everyone. Women who tend to wear black a lot or sleeveless tops should wear Degree Black Dress Approved. If your just naturally more sweaty use Lady Speed Stick Power Burst. Good luck hope it helps,

Reply:i had a problem with this a few years back, and with an awful odor as well. i tried lots of deodorants but arid xxdry and mitchum gel worked the best. one of my friends also suggests Secret Clinical Deod.
Reply:i think you shoud use Sure Girl its the new fragrance from Sure and it smells lush and is in a cute bottle. I have it and it works a treat. %26quot;we know what makes you sweat%26quot;
Reply:well, I like dove, the powder one is good or you can try the gel, I like the teen spirit the best but I don%26#039;t sweat very much
Reply:shave your armpit hair.
FACT: armpit hair makes/collects 30% more sweat
if you understand :S
hope i helped!
peace xx
Reply:Same problem here. Secret Platinum works the best. Ive even had prescriptions but they don%26#039;t work either. See your doctor, they may work for you.
Reply:Yes, I use Dove also and it works for me.
Reply:I use Dove and I never, EVER get sweat marks.
Reply:botox
Reply:i use a mineral block and that helps
Reply:i have the same problem i use%26quot;dry idea%26quot; and i know what u mean by.. A LOT cuz i do too!! its so gross i know!!
Reply:Here is some info (its from an answer I gave to a similar question a while back)
there is a product called Certain-dry and Dry Sol which I think you apply only at night maybe for only a few days or maybe a week and its supposed to last for a short while before you apply again... not sure exactly if I am right on how it works.

there is also a product called Sweat Block that you apply once a week.

you might be able to use these on other areas of the body like if you have excessive sweating on the hands but I am not sure.
if your sweating is not controllable by these then there is something called %26quot;Drionic%26quot; which they have underarm versions or hand/feet versions. You have to do I think 2 half hour sessions and depending on if you do it on low or high you have to do it for 7-8 hours total or double that on low. This is supposed to stop sweating for up to 6 weeks at a time. It stings when you use it but once you are used to it I guess its not that bad by what my uncle told me (he uses it with great success). Your underams will be red when first using it until you get used to it. But once you get through the treatments it will go back normal after some days. My uncle said this is the best thing he has ever tried as it stops his excessive sweating (he even sweat a lot during winter when it was snowing)

also, if you don%26#039;t want to go this route and your excessive sweating is on your underarms, there are underarm guards you can place on your clothing that absorb the sweat and prevent those armpit wet circles some people get.
there is
http://www.sweatex.com/
it says its not see-thru but if you are wearing a t-shirt you can see %26quot;something%26quot; there... they may not know its the underarm pads... but you can always wear a very thin undershirt with the sweat pad attached then your regular t-shirt or any other top over that.
